The "Cheer Hangover" is no joke!

If you're new to cheer or just stopping by and wondering what I'm talking about well here we go...

A Cheer Hangover is like waking up in the morning, prying your eyes open and questioning your life choices. As you lie in bed, you try and figure out how much you drank last night. Did I do shots? Did I mix? Did I clear out the liquor cabinet? 

In all likelihood the answers to these questions is no.  So what in the ever-effing sack of potatoes is wrong?

Remember the 12 hours you spent at comp yesterday, sitting on uncomfortable chairs (maybe even the floor), listening to deafening music that all sounds the same, running around for meet times, comp times, pick up times, awards times... Never mind getting them ready, dealing with their roller coaster of nerves, potential consoling after a fall. Cotton candy highs, merch price lows and bathroom lineups for miles? Sound familiar?

Well ladies and gents...this is the equivalent of drinking a case of beer, a couple bottles of wine and maybe 10 shots. That's right...all the pain without the fun of the party!

This is such a thing that many gyms have "Cheer Hangover Days" following comp weekends to allow everyone to recover. And may I say, like a real hangover, the older you get the more time you need to bounce-back.

But like the real deal we always say "I'll never do that again", but alas, there's a comp next weekend...so copy & paste and brace for impact!
